The Man Behind
Greetings, I’m Alexandre Latour, a man who embraced the philosophy of going his own way long before the term MGTOW existed.
From an early age, traditional life paths held no appeal for me – no interest in relationships, marriage, or corporate pursuits. Transitioning from a high school dropout to a lifelong autodidact, I shaped my character through a quest for knowledge and diverse life experiences.
My journey unfolded as I rigorously studied and mastered a broad range of topics, spanning wellness to information technology. In my twenties and early thirties, I carved a niche for myself in different fields – first as a wellness consultant, then as a freediving pioneer, and more recently as a growth hacker and digital expert.
With skills, experience, resilience, and a touch of luck, I organically grew into a sought-after leader in my fields. This journey took me to a dozen countries, where I lived in five, immersing myself in diverse cultures and witnessing human behavior in all its splendor.
Introduced to the term MGTOW by friends who witnessed my unconventional life, I recognized its principles as familiar territory. To them, I was a MGTOW, living proof that one can make it through life without having to conform to societal expectations. To myself, the terminology did not matter much, I was merely someone clear about what I wanted – and didn’t want – in life.
I decided to make this website not just to share my lifetime of knowledge and experience, but to bring together other men who are just setting out on a similar journey and those who have successfully lived by this philosophy. Call it MGTOW (I chose that term because it was most searched on Google), monk-hood, or the path of the Ronin, if you resonate with this, I hope this platform offers support and guidance through the challenges and triumphs of your unique journey.
